THE CLIENT’S VISION

Our clients wanted more than just a house—they wanted their forever home. A place for their family that would be healing both physically and mentally, where they could move with ease and feel a deep sense of peace and comfort every day. They envisioned a soothing, calm, and inspiring environment with spaces that encouraged meaningful family connection.

They were drawn to earthy tones, natural textures, and warm elements that made the home feel grounded. Above all, they wanted a space that felt like them—where they could relax, recharge, and truly thrive together.

HOW WE DELIVERED

Valor House was a true labor of love, made possible by the generosity, dedication, and unwavering community spirit that defines our design firm. This pro bono project brought together a network of incredible partners, artisans, and volunteers, all united by the mission to create a healing sanctuary for a U.S. Veteran and his family. Nearly $150,000 in donated furnishings, materials, and services helped transform a standard, ADA-compliant house into a deeply personal, restorative home.

A special thanks to the ASID student volunteers, who played an essential role in bringing this vision to life. Through their hard work, creativity, and dedication, they helped install, style, and refine the details that turned this house into a home. This project was about more than design—it was about honoring sacrifice, fostering healing, and creating a space where a family can truly thrive.
